Customer Service Specialist

Mission: To provide an outstanding level of customer service and develop close relationships with clients in support of the sales team and their pursuit of new business. To identify the needs of our clients and direct, educate, and support them in their insurance experience. To recognize the growth potential of the agency, provide new ideas for efficient processes, be open-minded, and work together with the rest of the Blackwell Insurance Team.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Answer phones and greet clients warmly
  • Route calls to agents
  • Communicate with clients via email and phone
  • Assemble policies and recognize any changes

Desired Outcomes

  • Become an insurance specialist
  • Conduct account renewal reviews
  • Provide extraordinary service on claims, billing questions, and endorsements
  • Manage all outbound communication to clients via Business and Marketing Management Systems

Personal Insurance Advisor

Mission: To provide an outstanding level of customer service and develop close relationships with clients. To identify the needs of our clients and direct, educate, and support them in their insurance experience. To recognize the growth potential of the agency, provide new ideas for efficient processes, be open-minded, and work together with the rest of the of the Blackwell Insurance Team.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Answer phones and greet clients warmly
  • Outbound Sales calls
  • Communicate with clients via email and phone
  • Answer live lead calls and sell

Required Experience & Education

  • Licensed Insurance Agent in the State of CA
  • B.A. or B.S. from a 4-year university
  • Minimum 2 years of customer service experience

Desired Outcomes

  • Become an insurance expert in a niche market
  • Conduct account reviews at renewal date and up-sell
  • Provide extraordinary service during quotes, claims, billing questions, and endorsements.
  • Work with marketing to develop unique and personal communication with clients
  • Work closely with management to surpass personal and team sales goals.

Mission: To serve and grow the book of clients by supporting the rest of the sales team, providing outstanding customer service, educating the customer, identifying and being proactive on the needs of the customer, identifying revenue growth in the agency, and generating referrals. Expanding and maintaining a high retention ratio in a niche market. To develop close relationships with corporate clients. Commercial Insurance Specialists are leaders of the Blackwell Insurance Team.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Communicate with clients via email, phone, and text
  • Schedule presentations and proposals with corporate clients
  • Delegate non-license work to Customer Service Specialists

Required Experience & Education

  • Licensed Insurance Agent in the State of CA
  • B.A. or B.S. from a 4-year university
  • Personal Insurance: 3 years

Desired Outcomes

  • Become an insurance expert in a niche market
  • Conduct account reviews at renewal date and up-sell
  • Provide extraordinary service during quotes, claims, billing questions, and endorsements.
  • Work with marketing to develop unique and personal communication with clients
  • Work closely with management to surpass personal and team sales goals.
